O! She's a supermodel!

If I could have my own clothing line and collection, I would choose her as a face of the brand. Sexy, funny and daring, Paengsuda has it all. Being able to communicate in Italian, she could become a supermodel effortlessly with a beautiful face of the former TV host Bo Chayada. Okay, she is no skinny but see what happened with Lily Cole recently? Full-figured model is so in. She can dance in multiple styles and has won many prizes. Strutting down the runway is nothing comparing to dancing impeccably on an international floor.

Now she studies so hard that she has no more time for modeling...and so busy that she has no any chance to hit the gym. However, she still tribute some of her precious time staying in tune with the fashion world--America's Next Top Model. Now, Paengsuda lends her stationery like pen and pencil to her dear friend Wit regularly.

Shopaholic Rehab

I've seen this buying craze rehab program in latest issue of BK magazine. With this program, you'll stop shopping for a whole week from this 28 to Feb 3. Nothing extravagant or indulgent but food and transportation. In Feb 3 there will be No Shopping Fair at Suan Santi Chai Prakarn where you bring some useless things for you that might useful for the others to trade there.

I have to admit that it's a good idea, especially for me who am broke now from self-indulgent purchases. But the thing is, I don't think I can do this, not with this program. Stop shopping abruptly might prevent me from spending for a week but in long terms it might get worse. There's always a lame excuse like rewarding myself after a tough week like this and then splurge all the money at the mall. And what if I can't control myself? What if an it-bag of the season is on sale during the week? Here come the questions. And I'm no longer a shopaholic, I'm sure.

I see no use for me to sign this program up at all. However, if you are interested please pick the latest issue of BK at Au Bon Pain or Asiabooks. Visit www.wechange555.com for further information on No Shopping program.

Still, I agree with the campaign's philosophy that we can be happy without buying things. Consumerism is not only way to feel good. O!

O! Boyd

Cloud 9@Gaysorn is my favorite shop even though I can't afford their products. It is some kind of mini concept store, for hi-end consumers. The products are varied from the UK's hottest shoes like Swear to many savvy New York based designers. For example, this shirt is fantastic with neat cutting and a it comes with tie.

Another interesting product is leather bags from Boyd, a Thai designer who made his name in NYC, are just gorgeous. Simple and stylish, the bags are made of leather and come in wide range of color. According to a too-good-to-be-true shopkeeper, this brand is sold exclusively here in Thailand and this very brand has already had a corner in trendy Colette, Paris. I'm not sure about the price but I think for a small one is about 23,000 baht and a bigger one for 26,000 baht, not so expensive for a bag with such materials.

Actually, you can't take picture in Cloud 9 but they allow me to do that as long as I'm a loyal consumer!

p.s. it's still too expensive for me anyway and no, I didn't buy the shirt.
