My Day

Yesterday was my day.

Well, I miss my fitness class in the morning but that doesn't matter. I had an appointment to choose some furtinure with New at Paragon but the big good news was to arrive.

Her mother likes my style of writing so I get the job to translate the whole book!

In the afternoon, my money has arrived in my account, could it get any better?

Yes, it could.

After a hard work at New's mom's office (a lot of 's here) I miss the gym again which was not a good sign since I would love to get fit by this summer. I took the train home and felt like at least it was my day with two good news. But that's not totally true. Around 8pm I felt like the result at BBA, Chulalongkorn was there but it wasn't so I just checked to Economics at the same university out and...IT WAS THERE!

I called New so that we could look at the list together.

Actually there are only 150 people to be in there plus 200 more in waiting list. Almost last page but Pattarawit Jaroenkit seemed to be no where. Deep breath, this couldn't be true...could it?

Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! She screamed...but I didn't see my name yet and... IT'S THERE!!!!!!!

I got Economics Chula laew!!!!!!

The name announced was based on our id not ranking and I applied the last day so my id was like almost at the last.

A lot of phone call and messages and IM since the news had arrived. Thanks ye'll for being so supportive. Especially my dear friend, New.Aghhhhhhhhhhhhh!

For better or worse

I've seen this new ad of Clinique in the latest issue of Elle Thailand. The ring is the symbol of engagement and promise to the customers. I just love, love it.

American Gangster

New (or Sky or AppleGirl or Apanee or whatever my friend's name is) and I went to Paragon to see Jay Chou today. Well, actually we happened to be there for a movie while the crowd was waiting for him to show up. And although I am not one of those groupies, I do like him a lot.

We watched American Gangster, a very good movie based on true story about drugs dealers and the city of New York forty or fifty years ago. Both Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe have proved their acting ability and the screenplay is full of conflict among characters and inside each of them. You'll see a dark side of Bangkok in the movie but please don't ever worry that foreigners would think our city is full of drugs and prostitutions because it was once like in the movie and NYC is portrayed as bad and dark as it is, too.

New (or Sky or AppleGirl or Apanee or whatever my friend's name is) and I loved the soundtrack so much especially this song called Do You Feel Me by Anthony Hamilton. Tell me what you think about the film or the music anyway.
